Image Is Everything

If a work from home business is marketing to and servicing the local community it's a little more difficult for the owner of that work from home business to be taken seriously. One commonality with entrepreneurs who work from home is the escape from business attire - the ability and ease of slipping into shorts and T-shirt to sit down at the home office computer and get to work. Being able to work at home

When a person is able to work at home, they are usually able to get more accomplished more during the day. When a person is responsible, they should be able to organize their time, focus on their work, and deliver what they have promised to clients and customers. This may be stressful at times due to the amount of work that is thrown at a person, but for those that run their own business, they would not have it any other way. Since many people make their money per project, the more projects they can line up, the better. People who work form home enjoy making their own hours. They can work early in the morning or late at night. It does not matter as long as the work is completed on time.

Being able to work from home allows to a person to make as much as little as they would like to earn during the week. Some weeks a person will make more, while making less in other weeks. A person can decide if they want to take a project or not. They can decide when they will take vacations, lunch breaks, and when they should stop working for the day. It is important to be able to budget one’s time. Weekly assignments and extra work can make the week disappear. Having a life outside of work is also important. Many people focus on running their own business and forget that they need to spend time away from the office. People who work for others can leave their work behind, while those who work from home always have it close by.

Since people who work from home need to have a computer, they will buy a laptop to take with them when they travel or when they want to work in the park or in a local coffeehouse. Being able to work form anywhere is a big reason why people decide to work from home. Instead of being cooped up in an office, people can take their work outdoors and get away from their home office for a while. These computers come in handy when traveling as well. A person can work while they are waiting for a plane or when they are in a hotel while in vacation. This is not the best time to work, but at least if there is an emergency, the person can take care of what they need to and still enjoy their vacation. Wanting flexibility is the best reason to work from home. Needing a way to be able to set a schedule and stick to it is a great feeling when one wakes up in the morning. The day can be easy or complex, it just depends on what a person feels like doing that day.

First,you must have a strong WHY.

Why MUST you have a successful home business? What is driving you? What is it that you CAN'T have in your life anymore and/or what is it that you absolutely MUST HAVE now?

For me, I couldn't stand working 12+ hours a day anymore and missing the experience of my children growing up. I also absolutely HAD TO HAVE the freedom of being able to control my life and finances through a little box (laptop computer) that I could carry with me anywhere in the world and not be tied to anyone's time pressures or demands but my own. That was my carrot and my stick. I felt a great pain deep in my gut of missing out on my children's lives and the incredible freedom that succeeding in a home based business would provide for me. I found my why. You MUST find yours.
